Chelsea Williams / Roan Yellowthorn / TBA

Chelsea Williams is a widely recognized talent who's most recent music video "Dreamcatcher" is currently spinning on CMT. She's opened for The Avett Brothers, played the Today Show, and guested in a Maroon 5 music video. Her recent album "Boomerang" landed her a spot in Rolling Stone's list of 10 new country artists to watch, saying, "Boomerang... offers an impressive array of soundscapes but still manages to keep things refreshingly simple and honest"

Roan Yellowthorn front woman Jackie McLean, accompanied by producer and multi-instrumentalist Shawn Strack, delivers ethereal indie-rock songs with a singer/songwriter heart. Roan Yellowthorn's debut release "Indigo" has tendrils in pop, rock, indie, and folk, making the music simultaneously familiar and fresh. Their single "Lie" will make WFIV's (Knoxville) list of 100 best songs of the year.

”…reminiscent of Bright Eye’s mood setting sampling…McLean’s lyrical delivery is full of Regina Spektor-like earnestness.” - DMNDR

Valence / Fall of the Albatross / Enigmatic Path

DOOR 9 SHOW 9:30 $10 ALL AGES

VALENCE: From the longest of islands comes the noodliest of instrumental progressive rock jams. Clean soaring melodies reminiscent of 70s jazz-fusion and precision craftsmanship makes Valence a delight for the discerning ear.

FALL OF THE ALBATROSS: Fall of the Albatross is one of our favorite bands to host. We've enjoyed their eclectic blend of metal, jazz, salsa and whatever other influences tickle their fancy in Chapel Hill at the dearly departed CHUG and our favorite Raleigh music hallway, Slims. Now we're bringing the magic to Durham.

ENIGMATIC PATH: Progressive metal with thrashy bits and spacey lyrics presented with intricate harmonies from some of our favorite nerds. Enigmatic Path has their eyes to the future and a deep appreciation for the prog gods of the past.

GNARLSCAR: Asheville Death metal with some delicious shredding and a rhythm section that will keep your heads banging and fists pumping. Fast, furious and well executed, the way modern death metal should be.
